The Bobbysuzeraelyn that could have been

This is regarding something that's bothered me for a while. Those of us who've watched the PPG reboot might remember a certain member of the Derbytantes, a character by the name of Bobbysuzeraelyn, a character who's joke is she looks huge, and gruff, but has a squeaky little girl voice.

Now that joke I have no problem with, but when you have her looking like Hagrid from Harry Potter: vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/p… yeah, that's pushing it. I mean I get they wanted to really emphasize the joke, but when it's to the Nth degree like that, I honestly feel they should have gone a different route with it.

That's where my little recent discovery comes in, I found some beta sketches of what the Derbytantes were originally going to look like on Cheyenne Curtis' Twitter (she's the one who designed them for the show) pbs.twimg.com/media/C796lYDUwA… and as you can see, they were all going to have distinct designs (which I assume the studio nixed because them all looking the same cost less to animate), and Bobbysuzeraelyn actually LOOKED like a girl.

I decided to take advantage of this and color in how I pictured her design would look if they had went with this instead, keeping the colors that they used for her, and wouldn't you agree it looks MUCH better?

This her will forever be my head-canon as the one and only true design for her. If I ever draw her again, she'll look like this, not how she does in the show, I just can't bring myself to do it.
