Big Daddies are giant humans who's sin were merged into diver suits! They come compact with a drill arm, ion laser, and a missile launcher! They also deliver a powerful melee attack with only there right elbow! Anyone who has played Bioshock could say, without some of the best weapons in the game, Big Daddies are next to impossible to kill! And if anyone were to mess with the Little Sisters they protect, they could easily die the next moment!

Here's a relevant question, What type of big daddy?

After re-reading :iconleviathantamer:'s comment, for the sake of fairness I'd say probably a Bouncer, as they would stand a 50/50 chance against each other.

Nemesis definitely would have the advantage in some categories of Death Battle. Heavy arsenal, more mobility, and given his final boss nature, definitely the damage sponge. Big Daddy has the scary drill arm and maybe plasmids, and he is also a damage sponge, albeit a weaker one.

It would have to be Nemesis, Big Daddy maybe tough but unless they're elite, they'll fall to normal guys like Daniel.

death battle script

Boomstick:FINALLY!! WE GOT BADASSES ON THE SHOW!

whiz: that we do, boomstick...and they are both from the most revered game lores ever since master chief and doom guy duked it out earlier on...

boomstick: today we got nemesis, an indestructible, horribly deformed tyrant from the resident evil series...

whiz: and the big daddy, an force to be reckoned with in the bioshock series.

boomstick:he's whiz and i'm boomstick!

whiz: and it's our job to analyze their armor, strengh, and abilities to find out who would win...a death battle...

Hmm, The Daddy is definitely the more likeable combatant. But The Nemesis is a %$@ing badass.
I think a big factor would be if Nemesis only gets to use his rocket launcher and not the minigun they gave him in the movie. I wouldn't count the movie though and not just because they're know for being bad, but because I'd prefer to stick to the game's cannon. Personally I'd want to the Daddy to win, but Nemesis is a force to be reckoned with.

But if Nemesis were to fight Subject Delta (or Sigma), who has the ability to use all of the Weapons and Plasmids from Bioshock, instead of a normal Big Daddy, he'd be screwed even with the Mimi-gun.

P.S. Delta also has a Mimi-gun built in one arm so he can shoot Plasmids out the other at the same time.

Dude, I want this to be a DB too!

Only reason I didn't make it is because, well... I don't really like survival-horror games.

I'm going with the Big Daddy. I watched one of those in action when my friend played Bioshock 2. That's some bleeped-up bleep.

Meh...depends. How fast can the drill spin, and how would Big Daddy's powers affect the Nemesis' overall performance (Didn't play Bioshock, so I barely have a clue.)

Also, the only thing I know of the Big Daddy is most of the body is consisting of a giant, metal diving suit. Tentacles are no go here, but how big an impact would the land-to-air rocket leave, as well as brute force. And also, take into consideration of how determined each creature is, the speed, strengths and weaknesses.

Sorry, I've seen so many of these things floating around this place. I can't help but over-analyze such things.

Trust me, there's MUCH more to Big Daddy than just the drill.

I'm not familiar enough wit BioShock to go into all the details, but trust me, Big Daddy's a @#$%ing MONSTER.

I'll take your word on that, but all I got to rely on in my own path is whatever remains of the first trailer for the game I saw.

A monster, in a metal suit.

It's one thing to just see him, and it's another when you actually play as him (like in BioShock 2)

I know this is months after but I need to do this because my inner geek is getting restless after looking at all the comments.

I know nothing about Nemesis other than he's from Resident Evil and he's a little strong or something. If he were to fight a Big Daddy, he would win and lose. How? If he's going to fight a generic Bouncer (the Big Daddy with the drill in the picture) he has a good chance. The Bouncer can only do a Drill Dash (he's a lot faster than he looks) and that's about it. If Nemesis were to fight a Rosie Big Daddy, he would have a bit of trouble. Rosies have a giant Rivet gun that shoots massive rivets like a semi-auto Assault Rifle (think M14 but super sized). Nemesis could probably take Rosie down but not without getting a few holes blasted into him. Now, if Nemesis were to fight against Subject Delta, he would need a straight up miracle to even land a single blow.

Subject Delta is the Big Daddy you play as in Bioshock 2, and he is an absolute DEMON on the battlefield. He comes with a standard Drill like the Bouncer and an advanced version of the Rivet Gun, but he has much more. Subject Delta is the first ever Big Daddy, and he can even use Plasmids (which would be super powers I guess). Not including his giant arsenal of weapons (Rocket Launcher, Speargun, Placeable Turrets, Mini-gun), Delta has a massive collection of Plasmids. With the Plasmids, he can shoot lightning and fire out of his hands, shoot out a freezing blast, Telekinesis, and Subject Sigma (another Big Daddy who's identical to Delta) has the same stuff as Delta but he has a SUPER POWERED LASER and a special Plasmid called Gravity Well that launches a big ball that alters gravity around it and after a few seconds, explodes after attracting anything or anyone unlucky enough to be sucked into it.

There are two other types of Big Daddies I forgot to mention but my fingers hurt.

Alright I've read up on Nemesis and practically know Big Daddies by heart.

I'll be honest, Nemesis will only stand a chance against about half of the Big Daddies out there. A Big Daddy is a genetically modified Human that has been infused with ADAM. A miracle substance that can re-write DNA to do whatever they want. A Big Daddy is modified to have larger muscle mass, denser bones and skin, and to have a smell that would attract Little Sisters. They had their Vocal Boxes surgically removed and have had their minds altered through some unknown way to make them have a single minded zeal to protect their Little Sister similarly to Nemesis' way of taking down S.T.A.R. members which was 'Take them out and anything in my way'. Each class of Big Daddy was modified in a different way with the Alpha Series being the most expensive but the most deadly.

A Rosie would stand the smallest chance against him due to the fact that although they have Industrial Strength weapons (The only weapons that were listed as able to hurt him were only listed as Industrial Strength) Their armor is slightly weaker than a Bouncer's and could probably be taken out by a couple tentacles.

A Bouncer is armed with an Industrial Strength drill that can rip through flesh like paper. While not as maneuverable as a Rosie they can put all their strength into their legs to dash right over to enemies and rearrange their faces. They are strong enough to punch the ground with their drill and make the entire ground shake like an Earthquake hit. In terms of Defense they have the highest in Big Daddy ratios as in these guys take RPG shots, .5 Mm minigun shots, and Lightning Bolts to the face and they barely feel it... it's not even enough to make them stagger so I don't think a Tentacle is going to pierce it. So Nemesis stands about a 50/50 chance against a regular one but only about 25/75 against an Elite Bouncer.

An Alpha Series is an even greater threat than an Elite Bouncer. These Big Daddies have less armor than a Rosie but are faster than any other Big Daddy and are more well-armed. They are either armed with Drills, RPGs, or Chainguns that are all definitely strong enough. They were initially test subjects of Fontaine Futuristics and so they have Plasmids which are like Superhuman abilities. They either have Lightning Bolts, Fireballs, or Winter Blast (freezes the enemy solid). Their strategy is that they run in suicidally and use their Plasmids and Gun to kill them as fast as possible. It's mainly the Plasmids that make them so dangerous.

Not mine, but by the looks of it we're going with the Bouncer. The first type of Big Daddy you encounter and the most iconic out of all of them. The deciding factor will most likely be Nemesis' intelligence and whether or not it's a combat effective one.

Sorry for the information overload, I thought that I might as well cover all the bases.

Well Nemesis is a very durable and heavily armed creature and while it's not the most intelligent of beings it is combat savvy. His fighting style seems to consist of over-whelming his opponent with a hail fire of rockets and minigun rounds. He also packs impaling tentacles from his arms and has survived getting riddled with bullets over the course of his first game and large explosions.

And as for the massive amounts of info.....Doesn't bother me.

Also I assume that since the Bouncer is on the page that he is the opponent.

That seems like a logical explanation.

The reason why I think that a Bouncer could win is because on top of their ADAM enhanced bodies they also have Diving Suits that were made to withstand the pressure of the ocean. Their weapon is also a big part. That drill was made for making holes in steel and they use it as both a weapon and a defense while it's spinning.

In the end it all comes down to whether or not Nemesis can figure out how to get past his defenses. Which all in all isn't too hard to figure out. His drill only protects its front and despite being heavily armored in the back still it's one less defense to try and get past.

Also if Im not mistaken wasn't the big daddies in bioshock defeated by a loan man?

A lone man that was able to outsmart them and was designed to be a soldier that could defeat Andrew Ryan's army of splicers. Not to mention that Lone Man was precisely that, a man. This is a battle between two battle driven monsters that have less battle intelligence than most men.

Splicers could take down Big Daddies too if they ganged up on them but even then most of them would die. Same result would happen if Nemesis was ganged up on by people with weapons.
